Here at WCO we are constantly involved in various habitat improvement projects. Whether it be rehabilitation, new construction or habitat maintenance, our involvement is critical to the future growth and success of the wildlife in the area.
For us it's not about just pursuing the wildlife for the take, it's about the future of wildlife and generations to come. Spending the time to invest in proper habitat care, conservation, predator control, and herd management will produce future successful growth.
Collaborations
Often times projects both large and small can be financially impactful the landowners. Without the help of our WCO team, collaborators and State and National agencies the success of our projects would not be possible.
Elk Heard Management
In an effort to promote and insure heard growth for the future we are selective in our harvesting decisions. Although the elk numbers are constantly improving, without proper management population growth could easily become stagnent. We here at WCO strive to do our part to keep the growth sustainable.
